About

My name is Heather, and I am based in the Chew Valley area to the South of Bristol and I work with people who are confused about what to do with their outdoor space. Looking out into your garden can be a bit like a rabbit frozen in headlights; you have a couple of ideas and some practical needs but no idea how to format that into one unified idea.

I can help create a garden for you that not only suits your lifestyle and practical needs but is also a beautiful and stunning garden that is full of colour, interest and life. My experience from my gardening business has built up a large database of plant knowledge, and a Diploma in Garden Design from the Cotswold Gardening School, means I am able to creatively join up elements of a garden into a unified and elegant space using technical skill and solutions-based thinking.

A unique design starts with listening to your needs and wishes, and turning these into your perfect garden. I can help you visualise your new garden using drawings and computer modelling so that you know exactly what you are getting before any physical work starts.

We are starting to realise more and more the importance of our outside spaces, for mental health reasons and to aid biodiversity. Using skills gained while completing my Permaculture Design Certificate I have developed a systems approach that takes into account re-using and utilising resources, as well as environmental and sustainable considerations. I strive to source materials and plants from local suppliers where possible, and plants chosen will have an aesthetic appeal as well as being beneficial to pollinators and wildlife.

Together we can create a garden that is beautiful and functional, where you can enjoy a space that connects you with nature and provides a better quality of life.
