After many years working as a professional gardener, I’ve built up an extensive knowledge of plants, shrubs and trees — understanding each species’ behaviour, growth habits, and preferred conditions. This deep plant knowledge allows me to choose the right plants for the right place, ensuring your garden thrives year after year.

My Planting Plan service provides you with a beautifully designed, to-scale drawing of your garden border or planting area. Each plan details:

• The exact locations of every plant and shrub

• A full plant list with species names

• Recommended pot sizes for ordering or sourcing plants

Before creating your plan, I’ll visit your garden to assess the environmental conditions — soil type, light levels, aspect and existing planting — and listen carefully to your preferences for style, colour and maintenance level.

From there, I’ll create moodboards and seasonality charts showing how your garden will look throughout the year. Once the design is complete, I can assist with the implementation to ensure your vision is perfectly realised.

This can be a fully collaborative process, where we discuss each choice together, or you can trust me to design independently based on your brief and desired aesthetic.
