With over 10 years of professional gardening experience and a strong horticultural background, I bring a practical understanding of plants, soil and growing conditions to every design. I work with homeowners to create thoughtful, beautifully considered gardens that feel rooted in their landscape — balancing structure, planting and seasonal interest to create spaces that are both functional and full of life.
Rooted in the Chew Valley
Having grown up in the Chew Valley and spent over a decade working as a professional gardener in the area, I have developed a strong understanding of the local landscape, soils and growing conditions. From heavy clay soils and exposed rural gardens to sloping sites and changing seasonal conditions, I consider the unique characteristics of each garden when developing a design.
My approach is to create natural, timeless gardens that feel connected to their surroundings — spaces that complement your home, suit the way you live and thrive in their environment.

My approach to planting design is rooted in a genuine understanding of plants and how gardens grow. With over 10 years of professional gardening experience, a Diploma in Garden Design from Cotswold Gardening School and a Permaculture Design Certificate, I combine creative design with practical horticultural knowledge.
My designs focus on year-round beauty, with layered structure and soft, naturalistic combinations that support wildlife and biodiversity. From relaxed cottage-style planting to contemporary natural gardens, each scheme is thoughtfully tailored to your home, your tastes and your site conditions, creating a garden that is as practical as it is beautiful.
